One must remember that if you have made it to the first date that you will want to make sure that you do not make mistakes that could spoil a perfect situation.
I know that when I first started with online dating that my own advice that I came up with when it came to the first date was to be honest with the lady I was meeting. When we met for the first time I made sure that I was honest with her in telling her personal information about myself.
This first experience with meeting this lady through an online dating site was a situation that didn’t turn out for me as she had not been truthful about herself. With her personal profile she had claimed that she was single and in fact she was separated from her husband and was going for a divorce.
My advice for either men or women in a scenario like this is not to misrepresent yourself as you only disappoint yourself. It would be the same scenario if you start telling untruths about yourself on the first date as more than likely you will be caught in your lies on subsequent dates.
The best advice is to be honest with who ever you may be dating for the first time. If you make it past the first date you may be well on your way to a successful romance that may eventually lead to marriage.
